I've used Map Point as well as MapSource but still find Mapquest to be easier (even adding waypoints). Thanks,Jerry working fine so far. I've found generating and uploading routes via Mapquest to be more user friendly than using MapSource (version 2009).
The 2720 has the same housing as the 2610 but they are different in many ways. Excellent product for an amazing price. I'll reward you, Read the manual because the menu isn't as intuitive as you may think. Two years ago, I bought a refurb 2610 for over $200 and thought it was a wonderful deal. This is a steal.
Stay away from purchasing anything refurb. Bought a Garmin 2720 refurbished unit and it is nothing but junk.
By Wednesday morning my package was being checked in with UPS. It's too new.
Three co-workers plus the supervisor are interested in buying one as well. I took it to work today to show off to my co-workers who couldn't believe the price I paid.
I couldn't believe how fast and effecient this company was in getting my Garmin Street Pilot 2720 to me. This could not be an overhaul product.
Good Job Digitechdeals. I ordered it last Tuesday close to 11:00 p.m.
My Garmin which is supposed to be an overhauled product arrived at my home on Friday brand-spanking-new with all the accessories.
Also, the hard buttons are awkward to push because of the effort needed to press them, combined with the fact that the unit is only mounted on a bean bag, it takes two hands to press a button and hold the unit from moving. If you're looking for a full featured, easy to use GPS, consider the Garmin Street Pilot C550 new [.]. The map size is very small when so much of the screen is used for the arrow and directions. I had absolutely no trouble or hassle returning it to the Amazon seller. http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2006/07/garmin_streetpilot_c550_review.phpThanks It also does not have a night mode/auto dimming feature. I purchased a refurbished unit, and the screen display was very fuzzy with poor color and contrast.
